Abstract

The paper explores how blockchain technology can transform the healthcare industry by improving data management, security, provenance, and integrity. It explains the main features of blockchain technology and how they can be applied to various healthcare scenarios and existing solutions. Blockchain technology can enable a new paradigm of Electronic Health Records (EHR) delivery models that are more efficient and secure. The paper discusses the methods and applications of blockchain interoperability in the healthcare sector. The patient data management system on the blockchain ensures that the health records are stored safely and only authorized parties can access and modify them. Smart contracts are used to automate healthcare processes and enforce access control policies, eliminating the need for intermediaries and increasing system performance.
