Abstract

Iraq's electrical energy output must be improved to fulfill the country's needs. Thus, more energy must be produced, either by building new power plants or increasing the effectiveness of existing ones, like the Wasit thermal power plant. Through study and research, it has become obvious that the Zubaydah power station is a groundbreaking and significant project. At a time when the nation is experiencing a major crisis in the supply of electric power, it is regarded as one of the important development projects as this project contributes to generating an annual production capacity that cannot be dispensed with, in addition to the existence of some problems and obstacles that affected On its production, including lack of fuel supply, maintenance problems, and breakdowns, as effective solutions to these problems were proposed.
